Who are the owners of Icecream Shark? 

Dawson and Stevie, we are the creators of Icecream Shark. Icecream Shark started on our family trip to the lake. Our grandmother bought everyone silly sunglasses.  Stevie’s sunglasses were sharks and Dawson’s were pink ice cream cones. Dawson said, “Together we are Icecream Shark.”  And that was just the beginning.  We started brainstorming about how we could turn Icecream Shark into a business.  What started as a silly idea turned into something great.  We kept working throughout the trip and came up with a logo, a slogan, and a dream.   

Since that trip, we have continued to work on creating a brand for those who are purposeful in life, seeking what they enjoy and protecting the things they love. Icecream shark is an apparel company that loves the water and activeness.  So, Bite into the Sweet Life, and join us! 

 

Where do Sharks fit in? 

We are very active people, and we love the water, whether it's the beach, a lake, or the ocean. The ocean is home to many animals including sharks. Sharks face big dangers from over fishing; this means that some people target sharks in fishing for their fins and even their meat. Sharks also have dangers from accidentally getting caught in fishing gear. Sharks also lose their habitat because of human activities such as building along the coast and pollution.  Another thing sharks face is climate change, which can change the food availability and mess up their migration patterns as well as their reproduction. This is a risk to the shark's survival.  Our goal is to support shark preservation by donating to the Shark Conservation Fund each year.
